Building off the success of our FUTURE50 list, we decided it was time to create a list of early-stage brands, retail, and services concepts to know and watch. While identifying the “best” start-ups might be somewhat subjective, the BeautyMatter editorial and intelligence team has decades of spotting that intangible something that breaks through the noise of the increasingly crowded and competitive landscape.

The NEXT50 list represents businesses that are relentlessly reimagining how to create, deliver, and capture value by building, breaking, pivoting, and persisting. These start-ups are on the precipice of scaling up.
