WWE Raw star Bronson Reed has responded to the Bullet Club War Dogs member Gabe Kidd’s “WWE is theater” comments.

NJPW star and Bullet Club War Dogs member Gabe Kidd has been very vocal about his support for New Japan and his disgust of other promotions in the past.

Promoting this Saturday’s NJPW Resurgence show, Kidd appeared CBS News Los Angeles and took some shots at both WWE and AEW. He said:

“Listen, I’ll put it in very simple terms. You like theater? Go and watch WWE,”

“If you’re a fat nerd who can’t talk to girls, go and watch AEW. If you want to watch the real stuff, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, this is where it’s at.”

Responding to Gabe Kidd’s comments, WWE Raw star Bronson Reed took to social media to make a joke in reference to the dig. He wrote:

Man, theater pays good

Gabe Kidd will challenge Eddie Kingston in a No-Rope, Last Man Standing Match for the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship this Saturday, May 11 at NJPW Resurgence.

The show will be headlined by AEW’s Jon Moxley defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Shota Umino.

WrestleTalk will provide any news and notes from tomorrow’s NJPW Resurgence when they become available.
