A 20-year-old Pensacola man died Nov. 1 while driving down Interstate 10 in Escambia County.

Florida Highway Patrol says the man was near mile marker four traveling east when he suddenly drove off the roadway.

“A gray SUV was traveling East on Interstate 10 when it left the roadway to the right, causing the vehicle to collide with a sound attenuating wall,” an FHP report said. The driver … was pronounced deceased by Escambia County EMS.”

FHP said they are still investigating.
