Florida to Face No. 23 Alabama for Second Time in 2025

The Gators will play Thursday evening at the O’Dome and take on the Crimson Tide. The conference matchup will be aired on SECN and is set for a 7 p.m. ET tip.

GAINESVILLE, Fla.— The Gators will welcome No. 23 Alabama to the O’Dome Thursday evening. The contest between UF and Alabama will be their second meeting of the year, as they were slated to be home and away opponents for the 2025 season.
 
Both Florida and Alabama will enter the midweek matchup with nine conference games underway. The Gators stand at 3-6 and the Crimson Tide hold a 5-4 SEC record. The tenth conference game on both sides is slated for a 7 p.m. start and will be aired on SECN.

Thursday’s contest will be Alabama’s first time back in the O’Connell Center since Feb. 23, 2023, which also marks Florida’s last win over the Crimson Tide. The Gators defeated Alabama 81-77 in February of 2023, and has fallen 76-73 (2/29/24), and 79-69 (1/2/25) since then.

Defensively, Florida out-rebounded the Razorbacks 52-35 and Ra Shaya Kyle led all with 12. Kyle has now led UF on the boards in eighteen outings this season.
