Texas heads to Florida on Saturday afternoon to take on the Gators in a big SEC showdown
The Texas Longhorns take on the Florida Gators on Saturday afternoon in Gainesville. The Longhorns come into the game rested after being off last weekend. The Longhorns will be playing their first SEC game after going 3-1 in non-conference games. They dropped their first game of the season to Ohio State, but have since beat San Jose State, UTEP and Sam Houston. They haven’t really been challenged in the last three games, but have taken care of business. Arch Manning has had an up-and-down season and comes into the game with 888 yards passing and nine touchdowns. The Longhorns have also been effective on the ground as they have 811 yards rushing and five different players have over 100 yards.

The Gators’ offense hasn’t been nearly as good, as they have scored just 33 combined points in their last three games.
All three of those games have resulted in a loss and they come into Saturday 1-3 on the season. They won their first game of the season against Long Island, but have struggled against USF, LSU and MIami.
DJ Lagway has thrown for 690 in the four games, but has six interceptions. He has struggled to get the offense going and it has put a lot of pressure on the defense.
