Makeup artist and brand founder Isamaya Ffrench has released her most extensive range to date – enter, the CORE line
Featuring 12 products – from a serum and face glaze to a blush and highlighter duo – Isamaya’s new, CORE, line has been in the pipeline since the inception of the brand three years ago.
Removing the celebrity makeup artist from the realm of the surreal (see: penis shaped lipstick packaging), the line is set to make ISAMAYA more accessible, whilst also catapulting maekup kits into the future.
Packaged in top to toe chrome, the line plays on current trends whilst amping up formulations with actives like Biolin-P and brown algae extract. Users can achieve that ‘glass skin’ look with the Face Glaze (£33), which hydrates and plumps thanks to a phyto-collagen activator.
In an interview with Vogue, the British Beauty Council Advisory Board Member, shares that the line is founded on the ‘5 point lift’ which is her makeup artist trick for a facelift at home. The base layer, which is named after the technique, targets the high points of the face to illuminate and sculpt.
The artist’s amalgamation of cosmetics and actives comes as a wave of futuristic formulations hit the market. Driven by a consumer interest to take their multitaskers to the next level, people want their concealer to reduce lines around the eyes and lip liner to nourish on top of defining.
‘Technology in recent years has brought a lot of innovations in the worlds of skincare and makeup,’ starts Isamaya Ffrench, speaking exclusively with the British Beauty Council.
She continues: ‘In an era where treatments have also become much more democratic, it is time for cosmetic products to become something a bit more than “decorative”. It’s the very beginning of something that could evolve into a big, truly exciting market!’
Isamaya has cultivated a career at the forefront of makeup artistry thanks to a cutting edge approach, loved by the likes of Rihanna, Madonna and Cher. This line epitomises her influence and enables everyone to have a taste of Ffrench’s future of beauty.
Available to shop online now and in Selfridges, from February 25th, the CORE line enters the market at a mid-range price point with lip liners coming in at £24 and the serum selling for £40.
