‼️‼️Iranian American here: That’s not entirely accurate. History shows mixed outcomes. Some interventions failed, but others fundamentally changed the world for the better. Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan were defeated in WWII, their regimes were dismantled, and both countries were rebuilt into stable democracies. South Korea’s freedom was preserved through international intervention and today it’s a thriving democracy. NATO intervention also helped stop ethnic cleansing in Bosnia and Kosovo. History shows that outcomes depend on how transitions are handled, not that change is impossible.
In Iran, the demand for change is coming from the Iranian people themselves. Millions have protested over the years despite brutal repression. @officialrezapahlavi, our transitional leader have proposed transitional frameworks for a secular, democratic state.
The real question isn’t whether change will happen- Iranians will ultimately determine their future. The question is whether the world supports a transition, or waits while more Iranian civilians pay the price. We Iranians are grateful for US and Israel support.
