There have been rumors floating around that the ‘Hurt Business’ trio of Bobby Lashley MVP and Shelton Benjamin could reunite in AEW, maybe with a different name. In the video that MVP posted on Instagram, he wrote the caption “The Ronin of professional wrestling has returned! I literally hit the ring yesterday!!! 1st bump in a while. A few more weeks of training and a bit of @justformen(grooming product) and I’ll be ready!!! My official in-ring retirement is near. But it’s not here yet!!!!”.

Clearly, as MVP mentioned in the Instagram post, he is nearing retirement from in-ring action and would want to make the most of whatever little chances he is given to wrestle. In July this year, it was rumored that MVP, Bobby Lashley and Tamina were eliminated from WWE owing to their contract getting expired, following which, it was made official the next month.
