The internet may be fixated on 2016 fashion trends at the moment, but for PatBo’s Patricia Bonaldi, the era most worth revisiting right now is the 1970s. For Fall 2026, she specifically explored Brazil’s ‘70s boho movement.
“By that moment, it was the end of the dictatorship,” the Brazilian designer told Fashionista backstage before the show. “Women felt more free and they wanted to express themselves.”
Bonaldi brought that “free-spirited” theme to life with a collection centered on movement, via floor-grazing maxi dresses, tops featuring bouncy, ruffled hems and flouncy, fringe-covered skirts. The collection also amps up the brand’s penchant for glamor with lots of hand-embroidering and metallic finishes.
