Iran’s joint military command said that the Strait of Hormuz has been closed again, citing Israeli attacks in Lebanon and US “bad faith” and “its clear breach of its commitments” by failing to end fighting in Lebanon.
Iran has announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, citing US breaches of agreements and ongoing Israeli strikes in Lebanon. The move follows a brief reopening after a US-Iran memorandum was signed.
There are fears continued clashes between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon, could prevent a final deal to end the war between the US and Iran.
