Today sees the release of the new album from the Jonas Brothers, and TikTok is giving them the now-customary-for-big-releases in-app hub treatment. Fans will be able to browse and save tracks to stream; check in on posts from the latest tour; and watch highlights from March’s ‘JonasCon’ fan convention. The hub also features a carousel of fan posts chosen by the band’s team for a spotlight; official merch being sold through TikTok Shop; and other content.
The group currently have 7.9 million followers on TikTok. How does that compare to other platforms? They have seven million Instagram followers, 5.4 million YouTube subscribers and 7.7 million Spotify followers – although their monthly listener total on the latter service is currently 19.2 million.
