2 min readAirbnb is heating up your next adventure. Today, the vacation rental company announced it will be listing the Canadian cottage from Heated Rivalry. Yes, you read that correctly.
Just in case you spent the past few months under a rock—one without an HBO Max subscription, that is—the romance-book-turned-television series has a total chokehold on the internet. Sure, some may be tuning in to watch Shane and Ilya’s love story unfold—but if you’re able to peel your eyes away from the steamy action, you’ll notice that not only is their love nest a modern marvel, but it’s a real (and bookable!) residence.

Nestled in Muskoka, Canada, this four-season, timber prefabricated home was designed by architect Trevor McIvor back in 2020. Spanning across two stories, the space feels incredibly cozy thanks to its wood-clad interiors and statement-making granite fireplace. Meanwhile, the angular rooflines and sun-drenched windows create a space that’s discreet yet exposed, which is exactly what makes it the perfect backdrop for the show’s hottest moments.
Decked out with three spacious bedrooms, the cottage can accommodate up to six guests. (Translation: It’s fitting for both a romantic getaway or a PG-rated getaway with your fellow Heated Rivalry super fans.)

We wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to spend your entire stay binge-watching the first season—and predicting what will happen in the second installment—but the cottage is conveniently located on the picturesque shores of Lake Muskoka. Not only can you take in the gorgeous lakefront views, but the listing also offers boat access. Forget the ice rink: A day on the water sounds oh-so dreamy.
Bookings for the cottage officially open here on Tuesday, March 3, at 9 a.m. ET and will be available for $248.10 CAD—a subtle nod to Shane and Ilya’s numbers. So, mark your calendars: This listing is hot, so we have a feeling availability will be limited.
So, what do you say? Are you coming to the cottage?
