Explore the Beijing Key Laboratory of Sci-Fi Films and Intelligent Imaging Technology

Time: May 26–29

Locations: Building 31, Communication University of China; Tower C8, Shouchuang Langyuan Station, Chaoyang District, Beijing; and Room 01, B02, 3rd Floor, 17 Guangshun North Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing

Features: Sci-fi visual effects technology, digital human technology, film VFX (visual effects) workshop, and science popularization activities. 

“Green Technology, Colorful Life” Beijing Landscape and Forestry Technology Week 

Time: May 24–31

Location: Longtanhu Station, Beijing Academy of Forestry and Landscape Architecture

Features: The event showcases technological innovations in landscape and urban greening through physical exhibits, real-life application scenarios, multimedia displays, interactive experiences, and expert-led explanations. It aims to promote public understanding of greening science while highlighting the scientific and technological sophistication of garden cities. 

“Hydrogen Energy—Green Future” Themed Science Popularization Event 

Time: May 27

Location: Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone

Features: The activity offers an engaging introduction to hydrogen energy through videos, exhibits, display screens, and physical models. It presents a brief history of hydrogen energy development, and explains its diverse applications—such as its role as an energy source in the transportation sector, both a raw material and energy source in industry, and a distributed energy source in the building sector. 

“Small Cells, Grand World” Themed Science Popularization Activity 

Time: May 26

Location: “Cell Gene Therapy (CGT)” science popularization base

Features: The activity provides science-based education on fundamental cell knowledge such as cell functions and types, while also highlighting cutting-edge advancements in cytology, including the importance of cell preservation, specialized equipment for cell research, and optimal storage conditions for cells. 

“Artificial Intelligence Demonstration and Hands-on Experience” Activity 

Time: May 24–28

Location: Zhongtu Cultural and Creative Park, Tongzhou District

Features: The event combines popular science education on the historical development of AI and its foundational knowledge with 13 interactive projects, including human-machine chess matches, intelligent robotic arms, and AI-generated calligraphy creation. These projects aim to showcase the latest innovations in AI technology and encourage active public participation in hands-on experiences.
