Missing man last seen in November may be in Winnipeg, Manitoba RCMP say

Manitoba RCMP are asking for help finding a missing man who was last seen more than a month ago and may be in Winnipeg.

Adam Oswald, 45, was reported missing on Saturday morning, Mounties said in a news release on Tuesday.

That release said Oswald was from the rural municipality of Glenella-Lansdowne in western Manitoba — where he was last seen at a home on Highway 16 on Nov. 27, 2023.

Oswald was in contact with a family member two days later, but has not been heard from since.

RCMP said police and family are concerned for Oswald’s well-being. While it’s not uncommon for him to be out of touch with family, this amount of time is unusual, the release said.

Oswald is six feet tall and about 190 pounds with green eyes and dark hair that’s short on the sides and long on top, which he often wears in a ponytail.

He has a Canadian flag tattoo on his right shoulder and a scar beside his left eye. Police said Oswald may have grown a beard since he was last seen.

He was last spotted wearing blue jeans, brown boots and a black and grey zip-up sweater underneath a brown quilted jacket. Oswald was driving a black 2018 Ford F-150, with the Manitoba licence plate KXD 328.

Anyone with information is asked to call Minnedosa RCMP at 204-867-2916 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477. Tipsters can also submit information online securely manitobacrimestoppers.com.
