Predicting Potential Shock Returns at WWE Money in the Bank 2024 | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

CM Punk is currently out of commission after being viciously attacked by Drew McIntyre on the June 21 edition of SmackDown in his hometown of Chicago. However, nothing is stopping AJ Lee from seeking revenge on her husband’s behalf.

Lee hasn’t appeared on WWE TV in nearly a decade, but Punk’s program with McIntyre has gotten personal enough that it could be what finally gets her back in the fold, if only for a one-off.

McIntyre has boasted about stealing Punk’s bracelet during the attack and has since worn it on Raw. Lee’s name being on the bracelet shouldn’t be considered a coincidence.

The Scottish Warrior has a strong chance of winning the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match, and if he succeeds, he’s already announced his intentions of cashing in that same night.

Punk spoiling his cash-in during or after the World Heavyweight Championship would be too predictable, but the three-time Divas champion showing up to distract McIntyre long enough to cost him the title would be a memorable moment and effectively add to the bad blood brewing between McIntyre and Punk ahead of SummerSlam.
