President Trump asked about the ‘Bad Bunny Rabbit’ as the Super Bowl performer

President Donald Trump is finally reacting to global superstar, Bad Bunny being named the halftime performer at Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 8.

Speaking on “Greg Kelly Reports” on Newsmax, Kelly asked the President about Bad Bunny, but whether it was intentional or not, didn’t quite get his name right.

“The NFL just chose the Bad Bunny Rabbit, or whatever his name is,” Kelly said. “This guy who hates ICE. He doesn’t like you. He accuses everything he doesn’t like of racism.”

Kelly then asked his question to President Trump.

“Do you think maybe we should just kind of entertain blowing off the NFL as a boycott or something along those lines. This guy does not seem like a unifying entertainer and a lot of folks don’t even know who he is.”

Trump replied that he also does not know who Bad Bunny is.

“I’ve never heard of him,” the President said. “I don’t know who he is. I don’t know why they’re doing it. It’s, like crazy. And then they blame it on some promoter they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.”

President Trump then expressed his disliking of the NFL’s new kickoff rule.

“While we’re at it, I’d like them to change the kickoff rule, which looks ridiculous. The ball is kicked, it’s floating in the air and everyone is standing there watching it. It’s ridiculous. It’s not any safer than the regular kickoff. It just looks so terrible. I think it really demeans football.”

This won’t actually be the first time Bad Bunny has performed at the Super Bowl. In 2020, he was a surprise guest, performing with co-headliners, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.
