The title above will take you to Charlottesville Tomorrow’s January 26th article covering first responders in our area after our weekend snowstorm. The area received several inches of snow and is experiencing extensive ice due to sustained low temperatures.
“We did see some falls related to ice and snow. We saw some sledding accidents, some skiing accidents and certainly some motor vehicle accidents,” said [Dr. William Brady].
“Today is another matter. As the world begins to open back up again. We’re seeing more people, and that’ll likely be the case even more so tomorrow when the roads are increasingly better. In that setting, we see a lot of people that have experienced slip and fall on the ice and they come in with hip pain or wrist pain, arm pain, or they hit their head and they have a bad headache.”
