Latvian carrier AirBaltic is adding four new European routes to its summer 2026 schedule as part of a continuing capacity expansion.
The airline is introducing two routes from its base at Riga to Warsaw and Gothenburg, as well as services from Vilnius in Lithuania to Zurich and Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. It will also restart flights between Tallinn and Oslo next spring.
AirBaltic’s latest additions come after it announced plans in September to introduce six new routes for summer 2026.
The carrier will launch Riga-Warsaw services on 30 March with three flights per week, followed by Vilnius-Chisinau on 1 April (two weekly), Riga-Gothenburg on 13 April (two weekly) and Vilnius-Zurich on 3 May (three weekly). Meanwhile AirBaltic will resume twice-weekly Tallinn to Oslo services on 29 March.
Overall seat capacity will increase across AirBaltic’s network in summer 2026, including a 12 per cent rise in Riga,11 per cent growth in Tallinn and a 21 per cent expansion in Lithuania.
Mantas Vrubliauskas, VP of network management at AirBaltic, said: “By expanding our network and increasing seat capacity across all three Baltic capitals, we are offering more destinations, better connectivity and greater flexibility, while continuing to strengthen the Baltic states’ connectivity with Europe and beyond.”
