Alcons Audio Bringing Pro-Ribbon Technology To 2025 InfoComm Show

Alcons Audio announced that it will be showcasing the latest developments in its pro-ribbon technologies as well as other recent developments at the upcoming 2025 InfoComm Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, booth 7345 and demo room W231A.

The patented pro-ribbon transducer technology is utilized in all of the company’s loudspeakers for live, install and studio applications. In the demo room, Alcons will offer hour-long demonstrations of the “Pro-Ribbon Experience,” showing how the systems deliver audio quality and intelligibility at all sound pressure levels.

Among the new products on display will be the GR20 point-source monitor, the first release in the new G-series. The GR20 is designed to bridge the gap between compact point-source monitors and larger array models.

Also on hand will be the new Director6 amplified loudspeaker controller, purpose-built to maximize the potential of pro-ribbon systems in fixed and semi-permanent installations. It has an eight-channel DSP engine combined with eight class-D amplifier stages. Another feature will be the MR5 mini reference monitor, part of the upcoming M-Series, in the company’s entry into studio monitoring.
