The Grammy‑winning R&B artist is returning to Buffalo for the first time in nearly a decade.
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Grammy-winning R&B artist Ashanti will return to Buffalo for the first time since 2017, sharing the stage with multi-Platinum singer Trey Songz at Terminal B on June 4.
Ashanti rose to fame during the early 2000s with hits such as “Foolish” and “Baby.” She also appeared on the singles “What’s Luv?” by Fat Joe and “Always on Time” by Ja Rule.
Trey Songz achieved mainstream success with singles such as “Say Aah” and “Bottoms Up.”
Tickets for the June 4 show featuring Ashanti and Trey Songz went on sale Friday and are available online. It’s one of four recent shows that have been recently announced for the Outer Harbor venue. Other new Outer Harbor Live Concert Series dates include:
- Marcus King Band: Darling Blue PT2 Tour, with Penelope Road, on June 14;
- Slightly Stoopid: Road Trippin’ Summer Tour 2026, with the Elovaters and Bumpin Uglies,on July 24;
- Koe Wetzel: The Night Champion World Tour, with Shane Smith & The Saints, on Aug. 26.
“Spring is always an exciting time at Buffalo Waterfront as we prepare for another great season of live music at Terminal B,” Michele Cicatello, marketing manager for Buffalo Waterfront said in a statement announcing the new dates. “We look forward to announcing more shows in the coming months. Between R&B, country, rock, hip-hop and blues, there’s a concert for everyone at the Outer Harbor this summer, with even more to come.”
Just last month, Terminal B announced that a new country music festival will make its debut this summer in Buffalo this summer. The Country Rising Festival be held there on Friday, Aug. 28.
