In a world flooded with noise, division, and quiet despair, AVATARI isn’t just making music – he’s building a movement. An alt-rock frontman with the presence of a mythic antihero, he channels raw emotion, cinematic storytelling, and his explosive performances into songs about pressure, transformation, and reclaiming your power.
His latest single ‘Electric’ captures that moment of ignition—the surge of energy that hits when something inside you finally wakes up. It’s a high-voltage anthem about breaking through the walls that hold us back and reclaiming the force that’s been inside us all along.
Speaking to Clash on the new release, AVATARI added; “Electric is about that moment when something inside you wakes up and you realise the power you’ve been looking for was already there. We spend so much of our lives waiting for permission – waiting for someone to tell us we’re ready, that we’re worthy, that we can go for it. But the truth is, that electricity is already in your DNA. When you finally flip that switch, everything changes.”
‘Electric’ was produced by Amit Ofer, also known as Wolves, a producer and songwriter known for crafting powerful, emotionally driven alternative and rock productions. Ofer previously collaborated with AVATARI on the single ‘Power,’ helping shape the explosive sound that has become a signature part of AVATARI’s music. Their continued collaboration on ‘Electric’ pushes that sonic identity even further, blending cinematic rock energy with raw emotional intensity.
The name AVATARI – derived from avatar, a manifestation of a higher force in human form – reflects the spirit behind the project: turning darkness into fuel and music into a weapon for healing, rebellion, and connection.
His journey began in Hollywood, where the pursuit of success collided with the darker realities of addiction, identity, and self-destruction. After hitting rock bottom and fighting his way back through recovery, AVATARI emerged with a new purpose and a sound that feels both deeply personal and larger than life.
Blending the theatrical charisma of legends like Freddie Mercury, Prince, and Mick Jagger with the modern intensity of artists like YUNGBLUD, Imagine Dragons, and Twenty One Pilots, AVATARI crafts anthems that feel like emotional detonations—songs built to break cages and wake people up.
His debut single ‘Legacy’ also caught the attention of Clash’s good friends at Rolls-Royce, who licensed the track for their Ghost campaign. His brutally honest single ‘High Like This,’ chronicling addiction and recovery, earned praise from Melody Maker Magazine, who called him a “rising star” in indie rock.
AVATARI’s cinematic approach extends beyond the stage. The music video for ‘My Skin’ received a Hollywood Music Video Award nomination, placing him alongside artists such as Lady Gaga, Benson Boone, and Foster the People.
On stage, his momentum continues to grow. In 2025 he performed at Outside Lands Festival, sharing the bill with artists including Hozier, Bleachers, Finneas, and Glass Animals. But the heart of AVATARI’s music lies in transformation.
Songs like “Fighter” explore overcoming childhood bullying and reclaiming identity through discipline and self-mastery. His music invites listeners to face their fears, confront their shadows, and rediscover the power that already lives inside them. Like the phoenix that defines his symbol, AVATARI’s mission is simple: Take the pressure – turn it into power, and rise.
