Bill Gates to testify on Epstein before the House Oversight Committee: report
WASHINGTON (TNND) — Bill Gates will testify before the House Oversight Committee regarding disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
On June 10, Gates will participate in a transcribed interview with the committee where he will be questioned about Epstein, according to Politico.
A spokesperson for the Microsoft founder said that Gates is ready to appear before the committee.
“While he never witnessed or participated in any of Epstein’s illegal conduct, he is looking forward to answering all the committee’s questions to support their important work,” the spokesperson said.
As many Epstein files have been released during President Donald Trump’s second administration, Gates’ name was mentioned numerous times.
Some of the files suggested that Gates cheated on his ex-wife Melinda and gave her a sexually transmitted disease without her knowing.
Gates has come out and said he never went to Epstein’s island.
“I never went to the island,” Gates said in an interview published by The Associated Press. “I never met any women. The more that comes out, the clearer it will be that – although that time was a mistake – it had nothing to do with that kind of behavior. I was one of many people who regret ever knowing him.”
