Collectively shooting an 837, the Broncos ended the tournament 15-under and five strokes ahead of Gonzaga. Boise State also outpaced Mountain West foe Wyoming, Big Ten’s Indiana, and Hawaii, who hosted the event.
The performance marks the second time the team shot at least 15 strokes under par during the 2025 fall slate. The Broncos carded an 829 (-23) in the Palouse Collegiate on Sept. 9-10.
Boise State bested its 2024 performance in the Ka’anapali Classic with a 27-stroke improvement. A year ago, the Broncos posted an 864 (+12), with two golfers leading the way at 1-over.
Starting the three-day tournament strong, Boise State shot 11-under and concluded the opening 18 holes tied for fourth. After carding a 285 (+1) on Day 2, the Broncos rebounded and were 5-under to wrap the tournament.
Leading the way, Cole Rueck fired a 204, signifying the second-lowest three-round total of his collegiate career. He shot under par in all three rounds (70-67-67) and was tied for 18th.
Gavyn Knight and Ryan Meyer registered totals under par, posting a 209 and 210, respectively. The duo combined to shoot par or better in five of the six rounds, with Meyer tying his career best for a single tournament.
Notching a 214, Luke Cushman finished at 1-over and tied for 73rd. Reese Knox posted a 227 and tied for 110.
With the fall season in the rearview mirror, the Broncos turn their attention to the spring. The team will have representation in the Genesis Collegiate Showcase which takes place on Feb. 16 at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California.

With scores of 70-67-67, Rueck has shot par or better in 12 of the 15 rounds during the fall season. He has 64 for his career, tying Graham DeLaet for the third-most in team annals.
Ryan Meyer shot 210 (-3), tying his career best for a single tournament.
Gavyn Knight’s 209 serves as the second-lowest total he’s posted in a single tournament.
