Boca Raton, FL — June 17, 2025 — Denys Darzi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has started a program designed specifically for neurodivergent children, particularly those on the spectrum. This initiative uses Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a vehicle for emotional growth, physical development, and social inclusion.
The program goes far beyond teaching martial arts — it creates a structured, supportive environment where children receive positive sensory input, develop fine and gross motor skills, and build confidence, discipline, and self-esteem. For many of these students, this is the first space where they feel both safe and empowered.
“We’re not just building martial artists — we’re building human beings,” says Denys Darzi, Coral Belt 7th Degree, founder of the academy. “Our program is about inclusion, belonging, and compassion. Every child deserves the chance to thrive.”
The academy also serves as a safe place for parents and caregivers, many of whom face the daily challenges of raising neurodivergent children with limited community support. Families find connection, guidance, and understanding there — elements that are often missing in their journey raising their kids.
Founded in 1992, Denys Darzi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a family-centered academy in Boca Raton committed to empowering individuals of all ages and abilities. With a focus on discipline, community, and personal growth, the academy uses martial arts as a tool for building a better, more inclusive world.
