A 10-year-old boy has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a suspected drink driver.
Officers said they were appealing for witnesses and video footage after the incident which happened at about 17:15 GMT on Tuesday on Lawton Road in Alsager, Cheshire.
A red Toyota Yaris and a black bicycle were involved in the crash near Alsager Pharmacy, and the boy was taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital by air ambulance. His injuries were not believed to be life-changing.
A man, 51, from Crewe was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and has since been released under investigation.
