Final version published in Nature Reviews Earth and Environment: Constraining the effect of global change on antifungal resistance.
Antifungal resistance is an emerging problem in human health and agriculture (since the same substance class is used in both settings); this issue could be exacerbated by various factors of global change. A One Health research agenda is needed to systematically investigate how global environmental change could be fuelling antifungal resistance.
Paper directly arose from a discussion in one of our weekly lab journal club meetings, and was written with Changchao Li, Wei Fu and Guanghui Xu.
