ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. — Authorities have identified the man killed in an accident on the I-10 Twin Spans near Slidell last week.
St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Christopher Tape said Monday that 61-year-old Errol Douglas Cain of Tallahassee, Florida, died of blunt force injuries after being struck by a moving vehicle on April 30.
Cain was identified through fingerprints matched in a national database. The death was accidental.
No additional details about the circumstances of the crash were released.
