CALIFORNIA MELTDOWN: ICE hits back after Los Angeles County declares a “local state of emergency” over a surge in immigration raids, as the Trump administration’s crackdown on criminal illegal aliens intensifies.
County supervisors voted 4–1 to mobilize resources and offer aid to residents affected by the raids, including rent relief and access to legal support.
They say the raids have “created a climate of fear, leading to widespread disruption and economic fallout,” including lower workplace attendance.
