This is the second time in three years that the Heels face the Seminoles in the ACC opener. And recent matchups have not been great for Florida State.
UNC has won six in a row against FSU, and has a 57-16 all-time record against the Seminoles. Carolina is 24-4 against Florida State in Chapel Hill, with 21 of the wins happening in the Smith Center. The Tar Heels are on an eight-game home winning streak versus the Seminoles.
