SUMNER CO., Tenn. (WSMV) – Isaiah 117 will soon open their red door on a new Middle Tennessee location to help care for children awaiting foster placement.
The nonprofit will break ground on its Sumner County house on August 27.
Having an Isaiah 117 House in Sumner County will help children in the area who have been removed from their homes and are awaiting placement. “Isaiah 117 House allows for a child to never go to a child services office but to a home with volunteers to care for them,” the nonprofit said.
“We are so grateful to this community for coming alongside to bring us one step closer to making this dream a reality for Sumner County,” said Ronda Paulson, founder and executive director of Isaiah 117 House.
