North Platte, NE — The Lincoln County Republican Party will resume its monthly meetings on Monday, August 18, 2025, and invites community members to attend for important local, regional, and state updates.
Featured speakers include North Platte City Councilman Ed Rieker, who will provide a report on local matters, and Kerrin Tallmon, NEGOP Committeewoman. Both Ed and Kerrin serve as representatives to the Nebraska Republican Party’s State Central Committee (SCC) and will share insights from the recent SCC meeting held on August 16 in Lincoln.
The SCC is the Nebraska GOP’s primary governing body, bringing together party leaders and delegates from across the state to deliberate, set priorities, and make decisions that shape the party’s direction. Attendees will hear firsthand about the discussions, initiatives, and decisions impacting both Lincoln County and Nebraska as a whole.
A light dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. The meeting is held at the North Platte Eagles Club # 2839, located at 620 North Chestnut Street.
