Man charged with possessing child exploitation material
Detectives from the SA Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (SA JACET), a partnership between the South Australia Police and the Australian Federal Police, today arrested a 42-year-old man from the northeastern suburbs.
The arrested man was charged with possess child exploitation material. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today, Tuesday 19 December
Detective Senior Sergeant Graham Tomkins states, “These are not just images on a screen, every image and every second of a video has a real child being abused and being subjected to a situation that no child should ever experience. If you or someone you know are impacted by child sexual abuse and online exploitation there are support services available at www.accce.gov.au/support
“Members of the public who have any information about people involved in child exploitation are urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
