Most of central Indiana is under a hazardous weather outlook as thunderstorms enter the area.
“A threat for severe storms exists this afternoon in the form of isolated to scattered damaging winds. Locally heavy rain could be possible at times, potentially producing localized flooding as well as renewed flooding on area rivers,” National Weather Service in Indianapolis cautions.
Storms are unlikely in the early afternoon but will bring colder temperatures and “isolated strong to severe wind gust(s)” are possible as they develop later in the afternoon and this evening.
