Men’s Golf Opens Play At ODU/OBX Intercollegiate

POWELLS POINT, N.C. – The Saint Joseph’s men’s golf team opened play at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate on Sunday.

How It Happened

• As a team, the Hawks shot 301 (+17) and are in 13th place after the first round.

• Individually, George Williamson, Jr. is tied for 30th after shooting 74 (+3) in the opening round.

• Christian Matt shot 75 (+4) and is tied for 37th.

Sam Feeney and Noah Moelter are tied for 48th after shooting 76 (+5).

Michael Henry, Jr. is tied for 69th after shooting 78 (+7) on the day.

• Georgetown leads the 16-team field after posting a score of 286 (+2).

• North Dakota’s Joe Kortan and UMES’ Andreas Roman each shot 67 (-4) and are tied for first place among individual players.

• The ODU/OBX Intercollegiate is being held at the par-71 Kilmarlic Golf Club (6,554 yards).
