Nevada County Democrats Endorse Adam Kline and Micayla Sortland for Nevada City Council
Nevada County, CA — The Nevada County Democratic Central Committee are proud to announce their official endorsement of Adam Kline and Micayla Sortland in their campaigns for Nevada City City Council.
Following a thorough review process that included candidate applications, interviews, community input, and evaluation of policy positions, the Nevada County Democrats selected Kline and Sortland as the candidates best aligned with Democratic values and the priorities of residents.
“Adam Kline and Micayla Sortland bring thoughtful leadership, integrity, and a deep commitment to the Nevada City community,” said Steve Hurley, Chair of the Nevada County Democrats. “Their dedication to addressing critical issues such as fire safety, responsible stewardship of public funds, and championing local arts and artists makes them the right choice for City Council.”
Kline and Sortland have each demonstrated a strong record of community activism – Sortland is an advocate for disability rights; Klein helped launch the Office of Emergency Services using funds collected through Measure C. Both Klein and Sortland will focus on affordable housing.
