There is tension in the government because it is made up of opposing entities that draw huge negatives from their participation in power. This was stated by MECH leader Radostin Vassilev in the BNT studio.
According to him, serious funds in large departments are being spent illegally, which further intensifies the crisis. “In addition, Peevski and his aggression and his characteristic culinary gluttony in politics are starting to irritate Borisov”, said Vassilev.
The leader of MECH was categorical that his formation would not give five votes for a vote of no confidence submitted by “Vazrazhdane” until its motives are revised. He described the party’s actions as “incorrect and unprofessional”, pointing out as an example that “Vazrazhdane”‘s motives include the use of the “Cherni Osam” dam to solve the water crisis in Pleven, and such a dam does not exist and there are only ideas for its construction.
“We will no longer sign under the punta maras of “Vazrazhdane”. This is a parliament, not Kostadinov’s kindergarten,” said Vassilev. According to him, “Vazrazhdane” is “the little offspring of GERB” and this is clear to the entire society.
He stressed that MECH has nothing to do with “Vazrazhdane” and “Velicie”, denying the allegations that his party was “bought” by Borisov or Peevski. “The millstone for “Vazrazhdane” is its close relations with GERB, which weigh so heavily on the party that it cannot stand up”, he added.
Vasilev again demanded the resignation of Parliament Speaker Natalia Kiselova, accusing her of a lack of professionalism. “Her shaming is visible every day. “Mistakes are constantly being made, procedures are not being followed, the rights of the opposition are being violated,” he argued.
Regarding GERB leader Boyko Borisov, Vassilev said: “He is a current political corpse and a future prisoner.”
