EDEN PRAIRIE — Qamaria Yemeni Coffee, an emerging chain with locations in Blaine and Little Canada, is gearing up for a Saturday, February 15 opening, Eden Prairie Local News reports. Once open, visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of espresso beverages, such as the Qamaria Latte, made with steamed milk, a cardamom and cinnamon blend, and beans sourced from the Haraz region of Yemen. To eat, customers will enjoy specialties like the honeycomb pastry, consisting of cream cheese folded in bread with a choice of honey or condensed milk drizzle on top. 582 Prairie Center Drive in Eden Prairie.

SOUTH MINNEAPOLIS — The Travail Collective is on the verge of launching its latest in a string of Twin Cities openings when ie Italian Eatery by Travail opens on Monday, February 10. Diners might remember ie Italian Eatery, which was previously owned by Eric and Vanessa Carrara until spring 2024. Now under new management, visitors can expect the return of some of the beloved offerings from the original iteration’s menu like mushroom cappelletti, as well as new twists on the classics, such as pork chops with kumquat preserves. Also making a return is the restaurant’s membership program, which gives members early access to reservations and other exclusive programming. 4734 Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis.

POWDERHORN — Opening on Super Bowl Sunday, February 9, Game Time Sports Bar & Arcade is the newest addition to Midtown Global Market. The food menu includes snacks like soft pretzels and cheese dip, hot dogs with bacon and peanut butter, and tater tots topped with street corn fixings, according to the Star Tribune. 920 E. ROCHESTER — Lucky’s Bar and Grill celebrated its opening on Monday, February 3, offering sports fans a new late-night spot for burgers, wings, and pizza, along with ample TV screens for peak viewing and just in time for the Super Bowl. 304 1st Ave SW.

PROSPECT PARK — The Market at Malcolm Yards welcomed Eggflip/Sushiflip on Monday, January 20 — a new casual, all-day eatery that offers diners Korean-inspired egg sandwiches, burritos, and bowls, along with a variety of sushi rolls and poke bowls. 601 S Marquette Ave #208 in Minneapolis.

LYN-LAKE — Mexican snacks are divine, combining spicy, sweet, crunchy, and sour. Las Delicias de Frida, which opened on Friday, January 17, offers it all. Situated on the ground level of the Lime Apartments, the menu includes favorites like Doritacos, seafood towers topped with Takis, mangonadas, tacos, and more. 2904 Lyndale Avenue S in Minneapolis.

ST. ANTHONY MAIN — Folks looking for sweet respite from the bitter cold can experience summer vibes at the newly opened Cabana Club, which flung open its doors on Friday, January 3. Visitors can enjoy a variety of rum-based cocktails, wines by the glass or bottle, and beers, as well as globally inspired dishes like paella arancini, duck confit banh mi, piri piri shrimp and more. 201 SE. HIGHLAND PARK — From Aaron Switz and InnerBloom Hospitality, Altera opened on Friday, December 13, offering a bit of casual elegance to the neighborhood. InnerBloom is the group behind several notable establishments, including Josefina in Wayzata, Layline in Excelsior, and Yumi Sushi with multiple locations, according to Minnesota Monthly. Visitors can find a variety of small plates like hamachi crudo, noodle dishes such as dan dan noodles with Sichuan pork, bok choy, peanut, sesame, and chile, and entrees like broiled miso salmon.
