With the release of Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter” tour, everyone is bucking and buckling with western flare! From sparkly buckle belts to bellbottom jeans and daisy dukes, it’s no secret the wild west is making it’s mark! But, in Oklahoma, western style was hot before the nation caught on. You can see people dawning their cowboy and trucker hats paired with a nice pair of boots everyday in Oklahoma! The best part? You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get the look either! Goodwill has plenty of options for low prices! You can find plaid tees, hats, boots, buckles, and the occasional “I love cowboys” shirt.
Questions on western wear
1.) How do I stop hat hair?
Unfortunately, it’s inevitable. But, a way you can try to minimize the frizz is by lining the inside of your hat with silk!
2.) Are round-tip cowboy boots out of fashion?
Technically, anything can be in fashion! But, if you ask the real cowboys and cowgirls, they’ll tell you to go for square or narrow tip!
3.)Is there a certain type of hat I should wear?
Cowboy or trucker hats are in ! But, if you want to spice things up, try to go for a bandana!
5.) Are there any other cool ways to jazz up a western look?
Adding some shimmer or shine, tassels, feathers, or even tying a bandana to your boot or back belt loop on your jeans can always spice things up!
