Softball Releases 2026 Schedule – Syracuse University Athletics

SYRACUSE, N.Y.- The Orange softball team has announced its schedule for the 2026 season. Led by head coach Shannon Doepking, SU will play in five tournaments, eight ACC series and two doubleheaders.

KICKING OFF THE SEASON

Syracuse will throw its first pitch at the Gamecock Invitational hosted by South Carolina. The tournament, held from Feb. 6-8, will feature matchups against Binghamton and South Carolina.

From Feb. 13-15, the Orange will head to Austin, Texas for the Bevo Classic hosted by Texas.

In Lynchburg, Virginia, Liberty will welcome Syracuse to the Liberty Softball Classic from Feb. 20-22. The Orange will match up with Toledo and Liberty with three-game series each.

At the Terrapin Invitational starting Feb. 27, Maryland will host SU through the weekend. The Orange are set to face Maryland and Fairfield through March 1.

Rounding out tournament play, Syracuse will travel to Catonsville, Maryland for the UMBC Tournament hosted by UMBC from March 6-8.

SERIES PLAY

Syracuse will open ACC play in Tallahassee against Florida State from March 13-15.

The Orange home opener will be held on Friday, March 20 against Virginia. The three-game series will close out on March 22. SU’s home stretch will continue with a series against NC State from March 27-29.

On the road again, Syracuse will face Pittsburgh April 2-4 before heading to Boston College April 10-12.

Back at home, SU will welcome Central New York foe Colgate for a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 15. The Orange will then host Notre Dame April 17-19.

Another break in the ACC schedule will take place on Tuesday, April 21 when Buffalo hosts ‘Cuse for a doubleheader. Finishing its last road series of the regular season, Syracuse will face Louisville from April 24-26.

The regular season will conclude at Skytop Softball Stadium against Virginia Tech May 1-3. The Orange look to continue into the postseason for the ACC Tournament beginning on May 6 at Palmer Park in Charlottesville, Virginia.
