Travelport will add Oman Air New Distribution Capability content to its Travelport+ offerings, the technology company announced on Thursday (5 February).
The carrier’s EDIFACT distribution through Travelport will remain intact, while the NDC addition will enable “dynamic pricing, rich content and a full range of ancillary services,” according to the technology company.
Travelport said it is the first global distribution system to secure an NDC distribution agreement with Oman Air.
Oliver Von Rabenau, Oman Air’s VP of revenue management and distribution, described the move “a crucial step in our digital transformation and our commitment to advancing modern airline retailing”.
