Luggage storage service

Saudia has partially resumed flight operations to and from Dubai, operating the following services:
Outbound flights:
- SV596 – Riyadh to Dubai
- SV588 – Jeddah to Dubai
Inbound flights:
- SV597 – Dubai to Riyadh
- SV589 – Dubai to Jeddah
Saudi’s national carrier, Saudia, has announced that due to airspace closures, flights to and from certain destinations will remain cancelled.
To facilitate the Saudi flights updates for travellers, Saudia has launched a dedicated page where you can track your flight status.
The advisory further entails:
- All travellers must check their flight status before heading to the airport.
- If your flight is cancelled, please contact your travel agency to rebook. If you booked directly with Saudia, please contact the airline directly through its official platforms.

Saudi’s low-cost carrier Flynas has issued a travel advisory on its latest Saudi flight updates that its flights to certain international destinations will remain suspended until 11.59pm, Wednesday April 15, because of the continued closure of airspace in those locations.
The destinations where the flights are suspended to and from are Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Iraq, Sharjah and Syria.

Flyadeal
Another low-cost Saudi airline, Flyadeal, has also announced its latest Saudi flight updates regarding the cancellation of some of its flights. The cancelled flights are as follows:
Flights to Amman, Damascus, and Dubai are cancelled until Tuesday April 14.
Flights to Peshawar are suspended until Wednesday April 29.
All affected passengers are being notified directly by the airline and are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
Aegean Airlines
Greece’s airline has announced that all flights to and from Jeddah have resumed.
Flights to and from Riyadh remain cancelled until Thursday April 30.
Akasa Air
India’s low-cost carrier announced that it has resumed select flights to and from Jeddah to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi and Kozhikode.
Flights to and from Riyadh are suspended until Sunday April 12.

Air China
The national carrier of China has resumed its operations between Riyadh and Beijing. The airline has also launched a ‘Flight change waiting list’ for the route. Passengers can access this option through the airline’s website and app.
Air France
The French carrier announced on its official website that it has cancelled its flights to and from Riyadh and Dubai until Sunday April 19.
Air India
India’s national carrier, along with its subsidiary Air India Express, has resumed its regular operations to and from Jeddah. It will also operate scheduled flights between Riyadh and Kozhikode.
There are currently no flights to and from Dammam.

Cathay Pacific
The international airline has cancelled all its flights to and from Riyadh until Sunday May 31. Customers affected by this change who have not already received a message from Cathay Pacific are advised to check the latest status of their booking via Manage Booking.
The airline’s ticket waiver policy is in place to provide additional choice and flexibility. Customers booked to travel between Hong Kong and Riyadh up to Thursday April 30 may rebook, reroute or refund their tickets without the usual fees.
Customers who purchased their ticket through a travel agent or third-party website are asked to contact them directly to rearrange their travel dates or request a refund.
Gulf Air
Bahrain’s national carrier has announced the temporary suspension of all its flights to and from Bahrain due to airspace closure in the country. Jazeera Airways
Kuwait’s airline has resumed flights between Kuwait and Jeddah via Al Qaisumah Airport in Hafar al Batin. The airline is also operating some of its flights to international destinations via Dammam Airport.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
KLM has also adjusted its flight schedule in the region and has suspended its flights to and from Saudi. The cancellation is until Sunday May 17. If you have booked a flight to, from or via Riyadh and Dammam from Saturday February 28, to Sunday May 17, you can seek rebooking and refund options from the airline. These options are only valid if you have a ticket originally issued on or before Monday March 2.
LOT Polish Airlines
The Polish carrier has cancelled all its flights to and from Riyadh until Tuesday June 30.
Lufthansa
The German airline has announced that it has suspended all its flights to and from Riyadh till Sunday October 24.
Malaysia Airlines
Malaysia’s national carrier announced that Malaysia Airlines has resumed normal services to and from Jeddah and Madinah. Passengers are advised to update their contact details via ‘My Booking’ for timely updates. Assistance is also available via Live Chat support available on the website, or contact the Malaysia Airlines Global Contact Centre at 1 300 88 3000 (within Malaysia) or +603 7843 3000 (outside Malaysia).
Philippine Airlines
Philippine Airlines has resumed its flights between Riyadh and Manila.
Affected passengers may avail of rebooking or refund options in accordance with PAL policies. Passengers are also advised to check on their flight status and the latest flight advisories via the PAL website, mobile app or official social media channels before proceeding to the airport.
Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways has announced that while its scheduled flight operations remain temporarily suspended, it will resume partial operations until Wednesday April 15.
The airline has requested passengers not to proceed to the airport unless they have received an official notification from Qatar Airways for these flights. The airline will contact affected passengers directly with their assigned flight details, travel arrangements and next steps.

Scoot Airlines
The subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, Scoot has announced the cancellation of all its flights to and from Jeddah until Thursday April 16.
Sri Lankan Airlines
Sri Lanka’s national carrier has announced the resumption of its daily flights to and from Riyadh.
Passengers are advised to regularly check the status of their flights via srilankan.com to receive timely notifications.
Turkish Airlines
Some of the flights to and from Riyadh and Dammam are cancelled until Thursday April 30. Passengers are advised to check the airline’s website for the exact status of their flights. Those whose flights have been cancelled can extend the validity of the ticket until Wednesday June 10, without any fee difference or penalty.
Saudi airports to host stranded GCC nationals and citizens
Owing to the ongoing developments, GCC travellers who are unable to fly to affected destinations can find refuge at all Saudi airports. The custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, approved, upon the proposal of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, to host all GCC nationals and citizens from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the UAE.
Free accommodation at Saudi hotels
Saudi is extending further hospitality to stranded travellers by providing free accommodation at some of the hotels in the country. These include Aber City Center Hotel, Boudl Abha, Boudl Al-Wurood, Boudl Buraydah, Braira Al Dammam Hotel and Narcissus The Royal Hotel.
Apart from this, the Makkah Chamber of Commerce has allocated 2,500 fully serviced hotel rooms for GCC citizens.
King Fahad Causeway – the land route between Saudi and Bahrain, is currently closed from both borders, until further notice. Road travellers are advised to check with the relevant authorities before travelling.
