The Tigers are coming off a lackluster 23-7 win over Louisiana Tech last weekend, but have a road victory over then-No. 6 Clemson on their resume. Preseason Heisman Trophy short-lister Garrett Nussmeier has thrown for 469 yards, two touchdowns and an interception so far in 2024.
In 2024, coming off back-to-back losses to Texas and Georgia, Napier and quarterback DJ Lagway began their late-season resurgence with a victory over Brian Kelly and the Tigers on Nov. 16, 2024. The Gators tied the all-time series 34-34-3 with last season’s victory.
