Wildcats Remain in Ninth Place Through 36 Holes at The Folds of Honor

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — The Arizona women’s golf team completed their second round of the Folds of Honor Collegiate with Charlotte Back leading the Wildcats at 4-over-par with a 73 today. Arizona remains in a tie for ninth place with Navy at 30-over par. 

Back was 2-over par through her first nine holes and was able to go 1-under par on the back nine. She is tied for 12th place and five shots back of third. 

Angela Arora settled in on day two with a round of 75 which is five shots better than her previous round. Nena Wongthanavimok started with a double on the first hole but was able to bounce back with a few birdies in her round to finish 4-over par. 

Julia Misemer had a solid front nine but had five bogeys on the back to card a 78. Sara Vitasek struggled to get going at the beginning of her round but found some positives on her final nine holes with two birdies. 

Arizona will look to jump the leaderboard and end the tournament with some positive takeaways from the final round. The Wildcats teeing off at 5:15 a.m..  Fans can catch the action live on Golf Channel from Wednesday 8:30am-11:30am and 1:30pm-4:30pm (MST).
