PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – The Panama City Beach Police Department is currently investigating a balcony fall that happened at the Sunbird Condominiums on Thomas Drive.
According to law enforcement, on August 22, at about 9:32 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting that someone had fallen from a balcony.
We are told the responding officers found the individual suffering from injuries consistent with a traumatic fall.
Officers and fire rescue personnel immediately performed life-saving measures before the individual was transported to Ascension Sacred Heart Emergency Care, but the individual was later pronounced deceased, authorities say.
This remains an active investigation, and no further information is available for release at this time.
