The Ealing Liberal Democrats welcomed new Councillor Kate Crawford who moved from Labour to the Lib Dems outside Ealing Town Hall in the presence of Luke Taylor MP and Hina Bokhari AM OBE.
At the event, Luke Taylor MP spoke and Hina Bokhari was present to welcome Kate as well as a large number of Liberal Democrat local election candidates, members and supporters.
Councillor Gary Malcolm, Leader of the Opposition said: “In Ealing the momentum is growing. Like Kate, many people across Ealing are disillusioned with Labour as they are closing ten children’s centres, two adult day centres and our streets are left dirty whilst our taxes go up. The Lib Dems are ready to make gains from both Labour and the Tories this May.”
