WASHINGTON (7News) — The holiday season is officially underway at the White House as First Lady Melania Trump prepares to receive the 2025 Christmas Tree Monday.
The Christmas tree, a concolor fir coming from Michigan, will be the centerpiece of the Blue Room.
This event marks the start of a series of events planned by the First Family for the coming weeks. On Tuesday, President Trump is set to pardon two North Carolina turkeys, Gobble and Waddle, during a ceremony.

White House tours, which stopped in September due to East Wing construction for Trump’s ballroom, have also reopened just in time for the holidays.
