Obama urges Virginians to vote for redistricting measure

Former President Barack Obama is promoting a Democratic effort to redesign the lines of Congress in Virginia, the last front in a national district redistribution battle before this year’s mid-term elections Thursday’s announcement comes a day after the state Supreme Court allowed the issue of district redistribution to be put to the vote for the April 21 elections. Early voting begins on Friday.
