We are looking for a creative, highly organized, and fashion-forward Social Media Manager to build and manage the digital presence of a Canada-based luxury clothing brand.
This is not a traditional social media management role.
We are not looking for someone who simply schedules posts or follows trends.
We are looking for someone who can build a luxury fashion brand from the ground up. The brand’s social media presence is still in its early stages, and you will be responsible for developing its identity, establishing its online presence, creating a long-term content strategy, and growing an engaged audience that aligns with the luxury market.
In addition to building the brand account from scratch, you will also manage and elevate the Founder’s personal social media presence, creating content and strategies that strengthen both the personal brand and the company brand while ensuring they complement one another.
This role is ideal for someone who understands luxury branding, fashion aesthetics, storytelling, and social media strategy—not just posting content, but building a recognizable and elevated brand.
Responsibilities
Brand & Social Media Management
• Build the company’s social media presence from the ground up by establishing the brand identity, luxury positioning, visual direction, content pillars, and audience growth strategy.
• Manage and grow both the company’s brand accounts and the Founder’s personal social media accounts, developing distinct strategies for each while ensuring they complement one another.
• Build a strong online presence that aligns with the luxury fashion market and attracts the right demographic.
• Manage social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest,
• Plan and execute monthly content calendars.
• Develop luxury-focused social media strategies aligned with the brand image.
• Coordinate content creation including Reels, Stories, YouTube content, campaigns, product launches, and seasonal collections.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to efficiently research, plan, create, and enhance marketing content, including graphics, product visuals, AI-generated imagery, videos, scripts, captions, presentations, and other creative assets while maintaining the brand’s luxury standards.
• Write captions and oversee the brand’s tone and voice across all platforms.
• Work closely with the creative/design team to develop content direction and campaign concepts.
• Schedule and publish content consistently.
• Monitor engagement, direct messages, comments, and community interaction.
• Track analytics, insights, and growth performance, and recommend improvements based on data.
• Stay updated with luxury fashion trends, platform updates, emerging content trends, competitor activity, and the latest AI tools that can improve content creation and workflow efficiency.
Administrative / Assistant Support (Secondary Responsibility)
• Assist with selected administrative and coordination tasks as reasonably requested by the Founder.
• Provide occasional assistant support for the Founder, which may include event scheduling, calendar coordination, personal organization, travel arrangements, and other day-to-day administrative tasks when required.
• Assist with coordinating meetings, appointments, and communications related to the brand’s operations and projects.
• These responsibilities are secondary in nature and will remain reasonable in scope. They are intended to support the Founder and will not materially interfere with the Social Media Manager’s primary responsibilities of brand building, content creation, and social media management.

Requirements
• Experience managing social media for fashion, luxury, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
• Highly proficient in AI tools and able to leverage them throughout the entire content creation process—including research, brainstorming, copywriting, image generation, video generation, editing, workflow automation, and productivity. Candidates should be comfortable using AI to produce high-quality marketing assets while maintaining a premium luxury brand aesthetic.
• Strong understanding of luxury branding and visual storytelling.
• Excellent eye for aesthetics and content curation.
• Experience with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of short-form video trends and content strategy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with luxury or high-end brands.
• Experience launching or growing a brand from its early stages.
• Understanding of fashion campaigns, product launches, and influencer collaborations.
• Familiarity with Shopify and e-commerce brands is an advantage.
