Federal agents have recovered a 15-year-old girl in South Apopka after nearly 17 months missing, identifying her as a verified victim of human trafficking in a multi-agency operation.
The U.S. Marshals Service, working with the Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force, Department of Children and Families and juvenile justice officials, located the teen who had been reported missing in April 2024.
The extended investigation uncovered her possible residence in an Orlando suburb and ultimately led to her safe recovery this week.
