Jordan Peele and Hideo Kojima team up for horror video game titled “OD”: What is it about?
One of the more intriguing announcements to come from The Game Awards was the unveiling of a new Hideo Kojima game. No, it was’t Death Stranding 2. No, it wasn’t a new Metal Gear.
Instead, Kojima is teaming up with director and actor Jordan Peele for a horror video game called “OD“. There isn’t much information yet about the game, but the teaser trailer at least shows off an impressive cast and lifelike characters.

The tagline towards the end of the trailer reads “for all players and screamers“. Among the notable names on the cast are Sophia Lillis (from the “It” movies), Hunter Schafer (from “Euphoria”) and Udo Kier.
While announcing the game, Kojima mentioned wanting to make a game that’s immersive and that no one has seen before: “It is a game, but it’s at the same time a movie and at the same time a new form of media“.
Peele then came out and praised Kojima, although neither spoke in detail about the logistics of their collaboration. Peele has written and directed a variety of psychological horror films, including “Get Out” and “Nope“.
Many already have extremely high hopes for “OD”. Thankfully, Kojima and Peele always seem to deliver.
